Description
First originated in the 1920’s, Swing dance is an umbrella term for a number of dance styles that were born from young people modifying their dance steps to grow with the rapidly changing music scene. During the swing era, there were hundreds of styles of swing dancing, but those that have survived beyond that era include: Lindy Hop, Balboa, Collegiate Shag, and Charleston. Nowadays, the Swing Dance experiences a new boom. Let’s Swing Again!
